On March 12, 2020, The Ontario Biomass Producers Co-Operative (OBPC) will hold their annual general meeting at the Country Hertitage Park – Puslinch Hall (8560 Tremaine Rd., Milton) from 10:30am – 2:30pm.
OBPC represents Ontario farmers who grow perennial biomass crops (e.g. switchgrass, miscanthus, big blue stem). The potential uses for these crops include livestock bedding and feed, mulch, erosion control, soil health improvement, and for the manufacture of bioproducts such as food packaging containers, biocomposites and biochemicals.
Anyone wishing to learn more about the exciting new market developments in biomass crops and the growing demand for switchgrass should attend.
