Upcoming Ontario Hop Production Sessions

Looking ahead to the new year there are two great learning opportunities for hop production in Ontario

The first opportunity will take place at the Guelph Organic Conference with a 1.5 hr workshop entitled the ‘Cultivation of Organic Hops: Getting Started’ on January 28th, 2012.  The workshop will be run by Ontario hop grower Mike Driscoll.  For more information on the conference or hop workshop please visit the website at www.guelphorganicconf.ca.

The second event this winter will take place at the Ontario Fruit and Vegetable Convention (OFVC) in Niagara Falls, Ontario.  The OFVC has provided a half day session on February 23, 2012 to focus on hop production and research in the province.

11:30-12 am    Surveying Hop Yards in Ontario – an Update from Niagara Research
