Join us this week at the Ontario Fruit & Vegetable Convention where an exciting Hop Sensory Workshop is planned on Wednesday, February 19 from 9:30-11:30 am.
The workshop will begin with a short review of field production practices that effect hop quality and yield by OMAFRA specialists Evan Elford and Melanie Filotas.
Following the review, an interactive session with hop sensory specialist Roy Desrochers of the University of Vermont (formerly of Tufts University) will lead the group in a sensory evaluation of hop characteristics and their effects on end use in brewing.
More information about Roy Desrochers can be found on this previous posting: https://onspecialtycrops.wordpress.com/2020/01/08/hops-workshop-at-2020-ontario-fruit-vegetable-convention/
Join us this week for a hopping good time you’ll be sure to enjoy!
